The Book of Origins: Chapter Two
1. Thus, the race of men was made, and their guardian appointed.
2. This guardian, Blackthorpe, roamed amongst the men; watching their every day lives.
3. And as he roamed, he noticed something peculiar, some men remained unchanged.
4. They were still weak, and fragile.
5. These men were not blessed by the Creator.
6. Blackthorpe cried out to the heavens, Sire! Why have you forsaken these men?
7. But there was no response.
8. For He was too exhausted to give one, his energy was expended; his presence was dwindling.
9. Blackthorpe waited, and waited. But quarters passed and still, there was no response.
